We are filling shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child right after we enjoy our turkey dinner. This is a great time for all ages in our church to join together in praying and packing boxes for children who will receive some fun gifts and an opportunity to learn about the love of our very gracious God. Our goal -- to fill 100 boxes!
Karen Baumann of Connell will share her outstanding photography and video in her program "My Pilgrimage in Israel." Karen, who is recognized throughout our local area for her photography, will highlight the landmarks of the Holy Land and other scenic areas. Please join us for lunch at 11:30 and enjoy this tour of Israel.
Drop by Ironworks and order a coffee, latte, or Italian soda from one of our youth who will be donating their time for this cause. Our church will be filling shoeboxes to be shipped to children in third world countries as part of Operation Christmas Child. Each box costs $7.00 to ship. Your support will help pay shipping costs and will be greatly appreciated!
PAWS programs are a great way for women of all faiths to enjoy food and fellowship with each other. Our first program this fall will feature Arlene Whitney who will be speaking about the history of aprons - fun and informative. As usual, a great luncheon will be provided by the Presbyterian women. If you have a favorite apron to share -- bring it!
Join a small group for six weeks to learn how you can experience God's presence in the midst of your busy life. Each week there will be a short video, discussion, prayer and fellowship. Childcare will be provided - just let the office know you will need it.
The study is written by Pastor John Ortberg. Copies of his book (optional) will be available for just $3.50 each.
